7″ – 11″ OF SNOW THIS EVENING INTO THE EARLY AM HOURS (SUNDAY 11/25 TO MONDAY 11/26)

AccuWeather is calling for a:
“BLIZZARD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO 6 AM CST MONDAY…

“Blizzard conditions expected. Winds gusting as high as
45 mph will cause whiteout conditions in blowing snow.
Significant drifting of the snow is likely. Total snow
accumulations of 7 to 11 inches are expected, from 6 PM this evening to 6 AM CST Monday, with the worst conditions from 9 PM Sunday to 4AM Monday.”

Facility Services will dispatch our first crew of three trucks and two tractors sometime tonight once there is 2″ on the ground. These will plow throughout the morning hours.

A second crew of trucks and tractors will arrive Monday Morning and plow throughout the the remainder of the storm.

Once all sidewalks and roads are cleared of snow the Facility Services team will be spraying 100% salt brine on all paved and sidewalk surfaces.

Snow Shovelers Throughout the duration of the storm please remove snow accumulations and try to keep areas to 2 inches or less of snow until the heavy snow abates Monday morning.  Then do a final clear of your areas. Please use granular salt during the duration as needled around all your areas (not just steps and stairs).
