Snow Removal Parking Regulations

SNOW REMOVAL PARKING REGULATIONS

The following regulations are in effect December 1st through April 1st.  All student, faculty, and staff drivers should follow these regulations to insure that all roads, lots and parking spaces are cleared.

1. Park in assigned lots for which you have a sticker. Whenever possible, park where the plows have already been and where you will not be in the way of further plowing.

2. There is NO overnight parking (2 am to 6 am) on the main road, in the commuter lot, faculty/staff lots or sports complex lot Section A.

3. If your vehicle is not registered with Security Services by December 1^st, your vehicle may be removed from the campus at the owner’s expense. If it is determined that your vehicle is not in operating condition, it may also be removed at your own expense.

4. If you use your vehicle infrequently, or if you need to park it for an extended period of time, contact Security Services at x-6400 for directions as to where to park it.

5. Lakeside Drive (West of Madsen, Lew and McLennan) is not TIU property and Facility Services is not responsible for plowing it.

PLOWING SCHEDULE

On WEEKDAYS, after a 2″ snow fall, the following is the schedule of APPROXIMATE times for plowing:

• Food Service cul-de-sac Before 8 am
• Commuter Lot Before 8 am
• Faculty/Staff Lots Before 8 am
• Gym Lot (Section A) Before 8 am
• Gym Lot (Other areas) Before 10 am
• Service Road After 8 am
• North Apts 10 am – Noon                                Gym Lot
• South Apts 10 am – Noon                                Gym Lot
• Gundersen Apts 10 am – Noon                    Gym Lot
• Ludwigson 10 am – Noon                                Gym Lot
• A – F Apts Noon – 2 pm             Cleared Spaces (in your assigned lot)
• Madsen Hall Noon – 2 pm       Cleared Spaces (in your assigned lot)
• Johnson -Trinity 2- 5 pm         Cleared Spaces (in your assigned lot)
• Carlson-Trinity 2 -5 pm           Cleared Spaces (in your assigned lot)
• Owens Hall 2 pm – 5 pm                                                                            Cleared Spaces (in your assigned lot or Gym lot)
• Quads 2 pm – 5 pm                                                                                         Cleared Spaces (in your assigned lot or Gym lot)

NOTE:  This schedule does not apply to weekend and holiday plowing.
